Prior to her passing earlier this summer on her 53rd Birthday, Dr. Renfro-Michel was a consistent champion for Boonton’s history, beauty and people. As a council member she brought in millions of dollars in grant funding, was a steady and consistent leader and always put Boonton’s residents ahead of party politics.
She leaves a legacy of service and remains an example of what it means to be an elected representative. Our candidates in 2023 are committed to both carrying on her work and serving the town in a way she would be proud of.
